Card 1
What are you trying to force yourself through right now?
Struggling does not always mean you need more discipline. Sometimes it means your system needs a different path.
Try: What would make this feel 10% safer or easier?
Gentle reflection, at your pace
A reflection deck for the moments when you understand the “why” but still cannot tell what kind of support you need.
Educational wellness material—made for noticing, not fixing yourself.
What Do I Actually Need?
A 24-card downloadable reflection deck
A softer starting point
You may be able to explain exactly why something feels hard—and still not know whether you need a break, a boundary, more information, a sensory reset, or someone beside you.
This deck makes room for the question underneath the question: what would support me, right now? No scorecard. No demand to become more productive. Just a small invitation to listen.
Inside the deck
Each downloadable card pairs a caring question with words that make room for your experience and one gentle experiment in making the moment 10% less heavy.
A meaningful question to help you name what is here.
A validating reflection without a diagnosis or a demand.
A “10% less” action that is small enough to adapt to real life.
A few cards to sit with

Card 2
Support can be quiet, practical, sensory, social, or simply permission to pause. It does not have to look impressive to count.
Try: Choose one small support to make easier to reach today.
Card 3
The ways you adapt may have helped you belong or get through. You are allowed to notice what they cost without judging yourself for them.
Try: Let one tiny preference be visible, just for you.
A softer place to begin.
About the author
Hi, I’m Aundrea.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting neurodivergent adults, teens, couples, and families. I created Ten Percent Gentler because so many thoughtful, deeply self-aware people can explain exactly why they’re struggling—and still feel unsure about what they need next.
These tools offer a gentler place to begin: one question, one moment of noticing, and one manageable step at a time.
I believe insight matters, but insight alone does not always help us feel safer, more grounded, or more connected to ourselves. Sometimes we need a smaller question: What would make this moment feel 10% less difficult?
These cards were created to offer that softer starting point. There is no correct way to use them and no perfect answer waiting to be discovered. Take what supports you, adapt what you need, and leave the rest.
